This is the heart-stopping moment a diving instructor came face-to-face with a great white shark for the first time.
Kati Prandi, an instructor at Express Watersports in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, was leading a dive 32 miles off the coast when she saw the 12-foot fish in 73 feet of water.
In a post on social media, she described it as a “day of firsts” while diving the Greenville Reef with the shark encounter plus “dancing” with Mola Mola and spotting a fever of cow-nosed rays making it an unforgettable experience.
